The Groupe Financière SNOP Dunois (FSD) is a privately owned major automotive supplier with established relationships to all European OEMs. The group has three divisions and employs over 8,900 colleagues in thirteen countries at 40 production sites and five technical centers. Groupe FSD offers its customers a broad product portfolio, supplying body structure stampings, roll-formed parts and assemblies for cars and commercial vehicles, as well as stamping dies and automatic presses.
Groupe FSD is modernizing its entire IT landscape to implement the highest-end solutions. These IT solutions are sustained by our “anything as a service” approach which allows us to easily exchange underlying hardware. This extensive project provides the most professional and secure IT landscape and the best available application portfolio for our colleagues and business needs at Groupe FSD.
To achieve this target, we are re-designing and implementing new server, IT infrastructure and endpoint solutions. Our goal is provide IT solutions for the best user experience possible at Groupe FSD.
Your contribution in the role of Network Administrator WiFi Level 3 will help us transition to a secure, flexible, scalable “cloud first” landscape that supports our business and provides the best IT solutions for our users.
We are looking for experienced and dynamic colleagues who are motivated to work in an international team. You will work within the IT team, headquartered in Paris and Cologne, and experts located in our locations across Europe.
Responsibilities

Analyze the business needs and recommend solutions for equipment and applications for wifi and network solutions

Participate in the implementation and integration of wifi and network solutions, including creation of documentation

Ensure the security and reliability of the solution in the IT landscape

Ensure continuous maintenance according to technological changes including version upgrades

Analyze and diagnose failures and malfunctions related to wifi and network, provide resolution of malfunction

Level 2/3 operation of network and telecom equipment

Provide network support on various IT projects and installations

Stay up-to-date with technology advancements of wifi and network solutions

Define and manage the administration of the wifi and network components (e.g. network assets, VPN, firewall, main and backup lines, etc.)
Qualifications
-
5 years of higher education
-
At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

Advanced knowledge in networks (LAN, MAN, WAN) and network administration
-
Expertise on Cisco IOS, Wifi and wireless networks, Windows, on-premise and cloud Azure
-
Good knowledge of industrial standard IT network solutions

Light travel in country and abroad is expected

Fluent English. German or French is an advantage
