We are looking for a HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) LEADER for our Kocaeli/Izmit plant. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Environmental Engineering or B.Sc. degree in related environment, health and safety disciplines  (A or B Class of Safety Expert Certificate)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE (automotive experience asset)
  • Having statutory certificates for safety engineering and environmental officer,
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety management (especially in Risk Assessment and Machine Safety)
  • Preferrable international safety training, e.g. NEBOSH, CMSE, OSHA
  • Experience in ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 Management Systems
  • Good command of written and spoken English,
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications,
  • Excellent communication skills with strong team workability
  • Planning, organization and problem-solving skills,
  • High sense of responsibility,
  • Living/willing to live in Kocaeli (shuttle available for İzmit, Başiskele, Gölcük, Derince, Kartepe area),

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site HSE program requirements and expectations,
  • Conduct daily HSE audits, site Gemba Walks
  • Secure the alignment with legal and SNOP global requirements and address when needed,
  • Coach and guide all levels of management, supervisors and employees at facility to establish the safety culture, prevention activities and collaborative approach,
  • Conduct and lead the concepts such like risk assessment and environmental aspects & impact assessment,
